Manufacturing Composite Technician

Department: Manufacturing

You will be a team member of a growing manufacturing unit, where you’ll use your skills to assist in the manufacturing of our helicopter-borne surveying instrumentation.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• Manufacture a helicopter-borne surveying instrumentation
• Having the ability to read and understand drawings and schematics
• Precision and safety in using basic electrical & pneumatic tools such as, table saws, band saws, grinders, sanders and drills
• Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, including ensuring all tools on site are reported and cleared prior to departure of work area
• Excellent understanding of epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester resins with fiberglass, Kevlar and carbon fibre materials
• Excellent experience in hand laying, vacuum bagging & infusion techniques
• Understanding of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Available to travel to field survey sites when required
